Save the Date: Fall Conference October 14 & 15, 2010

What are you doing Thursday and Friday, October 14 and 15? We hope you’ll be in the Twin Cities, attending the largest annual educational conference of the Minnesota Health Strategy and Communications Network (MHSCN).

Our agenda features local, regional and national speakers on various healthcare marketing and communications topics, including strategic planning, research, marketing, public relations, measurement, professional development, ethics and much more.

Registration is affordable at $199 for MHSCN members, or $219 for non-members, which includes a $20 savings off a one-year MHSCN membership. Registration for the conference will open up in mid-September. Stay tuned for more information to come soon on speakers, sessions and a fun location within the Twin Cities.

And block off those days – that’s Thursday, October 14 and Friday, October 15 – for exceptional speakers, relevant topics and great opportunities to network with others in your field.

Sponsorships are available now. For more information, contact planning co-chairs Adrienne Foley (651-797-3699; Adrienne@foleyoutsource.com) or Amy Pak (763-473-0620; amypak@comcast.net).

Just when your marketing plan is in place and things are running smoothly – along comes a UFO! No, not the flying saucer kind, but an unforeseen occurrence that can make you feel like you’re lost in space!

The health care galaxy holds all kinds of meteoric challenges that stem from economic crisis, reform debate, new technology, consumer attitudes and behaviors, and even the way health care is packaged and delivered that have created an uncertain future for marketing and communications professionals.

But with the right tools and information – from marketing and communications to social media and leadership skills – you can dodge these obstacles and position your mothership (and yourself!) for any cosmic event that comes your way.
