Little Moments Count: Lessons Learned from Statewide Awareness Campaign to Promote Healthy Brain Development
In 2015, Little Moments Count started with a cross-sector event to raise awareness about the importance of talking, singing and reading to babies and toddlers given the lifelong impact of those early experiences on brain development.
Today, Little Moments Count is a statewide social movement with 57 community partners; an active social media presence; extensive online racial justice resources; a monthly presence on a KMOJ radio show; an engagement survey to measure impact; a successful podcast on how to talk to young kids about racism called Early Risers; a two-part employer toolkit with awareness-building campaign materials and policies/case studies designed to help companies be more family-friendly — and a health care-focused partnership that involves 15 organizations, including 9 health care systems.
HealthPartners and CentraCare speakers will share lessons learned from programmatic; communications; marketing; diversity, equity and inclusion; community relations and partnership perspective. Panelists include:
